Living In The Light

God's story is Jesus, His life is light for all humanity. The Living Expression, face to face with God. He shines and the darkness can not comprehend it.

Nothing can stand against our God.

If I were to ask what areas of your life need light, I can imagine most would reply "All of them..." What areas do not need the beauty of light so bright it expels any and all darkness? So, the question is how do we "turn on" the light and better yet keep it burning in every facet of our unique and complex lives?

We Invite The Light In

Jesus assures us that when we seek Him we will find Him, when we seek Him with our whole hearts. He does not want to merely be a "part" of our lives! He wants to reign throughout every corridor of our beings. What does it mean to seek Jesus? To look for, desire. Think about the last time you lost something, maybe your cell phone or keys... what did you? You stopped everything and looked, maybe you went inward and asked yourself where it could be. Wherever you are today, whatever you're doing, if you stop and look for Jesus - you'll find Him.

We Choose To Remain

Ya'll remember the song "This Little Light of Mine"? … I'm gonna let it shine. Won't hide it under a bushel, no! I'm gonna let it shine. With Jesus welcomed into our whole hearts, we get to carry and fully experience Him wherever we go. Whenever we have questions, doubts, insecurities that want to creep in, we have this connection to something so much greater. This living, breathing expression - full of Hope - full of wisdom - the very glory of God Almighty is ready to lead us and the darkness can not comprehend it.

Turn towards the light.

"And through His creative inspiration this Living Expression made all things, for nothing has existence apart from him! A fountain of life was in him, for his life is light for all humanity. And this Light never fails to shine through darkness - Light that darkness could not overcome!" John 1:3-5
