Created To Create

What it means to Co-Create with God.

ree

The Bible teaches us about the power of the tongue in Proverbs 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death." and Provers 13:3 "Guard your words and you'll guard your life, if you do not control your tongue it will ruin everything"

We exercise this power every moment of every day and we have all experienced the power that words can hold in building ourselves up and tearing ourselves down. What about when it comes to constructing the life we want to live? A lot of people believe that type of living is only for certain "creative people".

All of us are innately creative and our words and thoughts are the paint brush and canvas for our lives.

Jesus made The Way

ree

Just as Jesus was given the same ability that speaks light into dark places, we have been given the ability in Jesus name to "call things that do not exist as though they did" or to "speak things into existence" (Romans 4:17-18) Just as Abraham was called "the Father of many nations" - to bring forth life where there was none, we have been called joint heirs and given the same authority!

How do we live this way?

Cast The Vision

ree

"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you..." Jeremiah 29:11

We have been given so many great and amazing promises, promises that are full of life - the LIVING word of God. How much weight do we put into what we have access to? What if we could walk fully into the tremendous plans that GOD has for us? Would you wield the word of God in your life, your children's lives, In order to reap the harvest God wants to plant? If we ask for a glimpse of the vision God has for us, if we seek, he will give us a heart after His heart. If we desire to obey His word when he tells us to take the vision and write it down, He won't go against it!

"Write down the vision, and make it plain..." Habakkuk 2:2

Cultivate Your Character

ree

Some of us, the soil of our hearts are just not ready to receive the seeds that God is trying to plant in us. Maybe the garden of your life is full of weeds, bitterness, envy, trauma, pain, unforgiveness, greed … these things keep our hearts hardened to the things of God, the fruit of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, self control. When we desire a heart that is malleable and we allow God to shape us, we can begin to catch a vision of the life God has designed for us.

Curate Your Life

ree

Boundaries. Oh boundaries. When to say yes, and when to say no … Yes, God wants to help us in this! A life lived steeped in God's presence and His word brings clarity and conviction that brings direction. Practice daily sitting and meditating on God and His word, place the word against the background of your life, ask Him for the answers and He will come through on His word! He will also give the strength to follow through, to do our part of the deal! The Holy Spirit is our comforter, our guide, and our energy!

Live From Rest

ree

With the right boundaries in place, we are free to make the choices that support the life God has called us to live. He has not called us to live stressed out, over worked, and feeling the pressure to say "yes" to everything. He has a specific plan for our lives and it's for good! We are called to enjoy this life and bear much fruit. This does not sound like striving and sliding into burn out!

Have Fun

ree

God is smiling down on you. He wants you to enjoy this life. What a treasure it is to get to co-create with the creator of the universe, have fun with it! Make it full of faith, dream big!

"Don't worry, God cares about every tiny detail of your life." Matthew 10:30
